Your first configurator in 5 minutes
Spokbee turns any product into an interactive configurator that your customers can use to explore options, see live pricing, and request a quote or check out. Follow these five steps to go from zero to a published configurator.
1Create a new configurator
Open your Dashboard and click New Configurator. You will land on the builder screen where Spokbee's AI is ready to help you define your product.
2Describe your product
You have several ways to provide product information:
- Chat — type a natural-language description and the AI will extract parameters, pricing, and constraints.
- Photo Upload — upload product images and the AI will detect visual variants.
- URL — paste a product page URL and Spokbee will scrape and parse it.
- PDF / Data file — upload a spec sheet, catalog, or structured data file (JSON, CSV, Excel, etc.).
3Review extracted parameters
After the AI processes your input it presents a draft schema: the parameters (options), detected pricing, and any constraints it found. Review each one. Spokbee highlights uncertain items so you can confirm or correct them.
4Customize and refine
Use the builder to polish your configurator:
- Edit parameter labels, types, and option values.
- Upload product images and assign them to option combos.
- Add pricing rules (surcharges, volume tiers, formulas).
- Define constraints to prevent invalid combinations.
5Publish
Click Publish in the top-right corner. Spokbee generates a shareable URL you can send to customers. You can also embed the configurator on your own website with a single script tag or iframe.
Tip: You can iterate after publishing. Any changes you save in the builder are not visible to customers until you click Publish again, so you can safely experiment.
