Commerce & Checkout

Accept payments through your configurator with Stripe checkout, cart management, and cross-sell recommendations.

Cart system

Buyers can add configured products to a cart instead of requesting a quote. The cart persists within the session and supports multiple products with different configurations.

  • Add to cart — After configuring a product, the buyer clicks "Add to Cart". The full configuration and calculated price are stored.
  • Quantities — Buyers can adjust the quantity of each item in the cart. Volume pricing is recalculated automatically.
  • Cart drawer — A slide-in panel shows all items, quantities, individual prices, and the cart subtotal. Items can be removed or edited.

Stripe integration

Spokbee uses Stripe for payment processing. To accept payments, you must connect a Stripe account to your workspace.

  1. 1Go to Settings > Payments in your workspace dashboard.
  2. 2Click "Connect Stripe Account". You will be redirected to Stripe's OAuth flow.
  3. 3Authorize Spokbee to process payments on your behalf.
  4. 4Once connected, the checkout button appears on your configurators automatically.
Spokbee creates Stripe Checkout Sessions for each order. You retain full control of your Stripe account, including refunds, disputes, and payouts. Spokbee does not hold funds at any point.

Checkout flow

When the buyer is ready to pay, they proceed through a secure checkout powered by Stripe.

  1. 1Buyer reviews items in the cart and clicks "Checkout".
  2. 2Spokbee creates a Stripe Checkout Session with all line items.
  3. 3The buyer is redirected to Stripe's hosted checkout page to enter payment details.
  4. 4On successful payment, the buyer is redirected to a confirmation page with order details.
